AN AGREEMENT between the Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) and Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII) is designed to improving training and development in the insurance sector. The memorandum of understanding signed by the two organisations will allow the MII to provide opportunities for students from developing markets to obtain internationally recognised insurance qualifications.

Acting high commissioner of Malaysia in Dhaka Hamizan Bin Hashim describedMalaysia as one of the major development partners of Bangladesh and expressed the wish that the MoU would enhance the co-operation between the two countries in the insurance sector.
