Strategic Performance Management
A strategic manager is responsible for reviewing a business’ current strategy and goals to identify its potential strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for improvement. They typically lead and manage one to several corporate departments to meet specific challenges and goals including production, finance, human resource and marketing departments. Strategic managers recommend highly detailed plans and set goals based on their assessments and help to implement these strategies through hiring, training, presentations and development.
