Cognitive flexibility is our ability to shift our thinking in the face of setbacks, mistakes or when new information comes to light. You can train your brain to switch modes of thinking. It is a skill that the World Economic Forum has listed in the top ten skills that people will need if they are to thrive in the so-called 4th industrial revolution. All too often we take the easy route when faced with challenges but it is not often the best route for you, your colleagues or your clients. This session will teach you how to develop your cognitive flexibility in a fast-paced and challenging working environment and enable you to move away from one-dimensional thinking. It will also show you how to help your clients be in the right frame of mind when assessing demands and needs or when, for example, gathering information as part of the claims process.
