Carl is a thought leader in learning & development. He has 30+ years experience in consulting, successfully completed 200+ consulting assignments & facilitated 1000+ workshops on strategy, innovation, leadership, marketing & sales development. As a serial entrepreneur, Carl founded the Sunstone Group (www.sunstone.biz), a holding company that owns businesses in consumer products, healthcare, business process outsourcing, mining, hospitality, education & consulting. He co-founded several tech companies including Restart Bank, a digital bank, & BankingON, a fintech that focuses on mobile banking.

Carl has an inextinguishable passion to help organizations perform through enhancing the capabilities of their people. He has deep insights into the inner workings of various industries, including financial services, healthcare, life sciences, healthcare, biotechnology as well as FMCG. Carl uses his knowledge & expertise to develop industry competency standards & train industry leaders.

Carl is often engaged as a strategy consultant by MNCs, NGOs & government organizations to drive innovation and & leadership workshops. Clients include UBS, Credit Suisse, Citibank, Chinatrust, Singapore Tourism Board, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, Franklin Templeton, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, American Airlines, BASF, Roche & Leo Pharma. He served on the boards of several NGOs including Trustbridge Global, Church World Service & Family First Global.

Carl currently serves as the priest warden at church & is a synod member of the Anglican Diocese of Singapore. His hobbies include cycling with his wife, researching how to connect with his teenage daughter & son, reading the Bible & playing musical instruments.
