About the Course
Participants will learn about the basics in Liability
Insurance, to understand when the need for Liability
Insurance arises; apply principles of insurance in
Liability Insurance; understand provisions of various
coverage, and identify its underwriting factors.
Key Learning Outcome: At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Relate the Malaysian Legal System with the
English Common Law.
- Distinguish between Common Law Equity
and Statute.
- Express the General Principles of Liability.
- Relate the General Principles of Insurance as
applicable to Liability Insurance.
- Define and discuss Law of Negligence as

ANTON DINESH RAMACHANDRAN
AMII, ACII, LLB (Hons), CERTIFICATE IN LEGAL PRACTICE,
FORMER ADVOCATE & SOLICITOR OF THE HIGH COURT
OF MALAYA
Anton joined the insurance industry in 1996 and has over 26 years of
experience in the Insurance Industry, having been involved in Insurance
Broking, Underwriting, Claims and Reinsurance, in the Asia Pacific region.
Apart from working in various fields in the insurance industry, Anton was also a part time trainer for various liability and reinsurance trainings at insurance companies in
Malaysia and in the Asian region.
