PHILIP TEOH
Philip Teoh has been in legal practice in Singapore and Malaysia for over 31 years. Shipping & Admiralty, International Trade, Insurance and Oil & Gas count as his core practice areas. He is also Author of key Practitioners Texts ie Halsbury’s Laws of Malaysia Titles on Shipping and related areas, Annotation of Merchant Shipping Laws, Forms & Precedents on Shipping, Pleadings on Carriage of Goods by Sea.
He is an Arbitrator with key Maritime and international Arbitration Centres LMAA, SCMA, EMAC, ICC, LCIA, AIAC, KCAB and others. He is on the Legal Subcommittee of FIATA the Swiss based International Federation of Forwarders.
He regularly handles matters at the Admiralty Court and argued the inaugural reported decision of the Court in the case of The Istana VI. He acts for parties and as Counsel at all levels of the Malaysian Courts up to the apex Federal Court.
