Introducing our next guest on the #DiscoveringInsurance Live Talk Show, Dr Hajar Marlina, Head of Medical at Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad.
Dr Hajar Marlina, a medical graduate, began her career as a clinical doctor for several years before joining the insurance/takaful industry. With 8 years of experience in the industry, Dr Hajar contributes in various aspects of insurance operations, such as Claims, Underwriting, Marketing & Branding, HR, and Business Continuity Management, which has led her to her current role as the Head of Medical Management.
Dr Hajar plays a pivotal role in developing the clinical capability within PULSE, the Prudential app. She is also actively promoting the Takaful Awareness agenda. Other areas of interest include AI tech, modernization of medical coverage, prevention, and postponing diseases.
In her free time, Dr Hajar enjoys working with NGOs and helps those who are displaced and unfortunate.
