MII Digital Badges for Individual Members
While MII will continue to award paper certificates, digital badges provide the opportunity for Members to easily display competencies and announce achievements online. It recognizes not only a Member’s commitment to professional development, but also the Member’s contribution to the growing professional standards of the insurance industry. Professional development and lifelong learning are progressions that should be celebrated, and we believe MII’s partnership with Credly will help showcase the incredible people that work in our industry.
We are committed to providing you with the tools necessary to achieve your professional goals and we understand that communicating your credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That is why we have partnered with Credly platform to provide you with a digital version of your credentials. Digital badges can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.

How to use your badge?
Step 1 – You will receive an email from admin@youracclaim.com / admin@credly.com
Step 2 – Click the 'Accept Your badge' button in the email
Step 3 – Create and confirm your Credly account
Step 4 – Accept your badge
Step 5 – Share your badge(s) with anyone you want, via:
- Website
In addition to the above, you can share your complete Credly profile to provide an employer with the full context of your abilities, represented by the various badges that you have earned, as well as manage your badges through the Credly platform.
Step 6 – Viewers can click on your badge and will be taken to the Credly platform to see the full details of your achievement.
