Aaron is the CIO of Auspac Investment Management and a Director of Auspac Ventures Fund VCC. He has 20 years of experience in business development, fundraising, private equity and portfolio management.
Before joining Auspac Investment Management, Aaron held investment positions in hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital. Over the years, Aaron has built up a track record in deal origination, investments, and divestments in diverse sectors in SEA, Australia and China. He was also involved in fundraisings for private equity, real estate, and hedge funds with Asian based institutional investors.
Aaron holds a MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce (Second Upper-class Honours) in Economics and Finance from the University of Melbourne. In his previous role, Danny as a Group CEO of GHL, he was responsible for overseeing the operations for the entire group, reporting directly to the Vice Executive Chairman and Board of Directors.
With his leadership, GHL, was awarded the prestigious Asia’s Corporate Excellence and Sustainability Award as Asia’s Best Performing Company as well as The Edge’s Billion Ringgit Club Award in 2019. Danny is currently focusing on strategic advisory work in the Fintech industry. Lim Jo Weng

Over the past decade, Jo Weng has built his professional career in the area human capital transformation and strategic talent management covering a wide range of the HR spectrum as a management consultant.
In his previous role with Willis Towers Watson, he was the practice lead for Organizational Alignment. He specializes in operating model and organizational design, people strategy, workforce planning and job evaluation. His breadth of knowledge also expands to include competency modelling, rewards management, talent management and performance management.
Apart from these area of expertise, he often assumes the role of a project manager and subject matter expert, leading team members in ensuring multiple complex modules are being integrated seamlessly.

In her present role of Senior Business Consultant, she helps articulate solutions for the Insurance industry uniting domain, technology and flavoring it with her understanding of operational needs.
She is experienced in the implementation and management of Policy Administration Systems and integration with peripheral applications in the ecosystem.
She received her PhD from the Department of Computer Science, University of Pune. The topic was “A query and result visualization mechanism for data in complementary web-sites” – from Database Theory. In continuation to this, she has worked in the field of Big Data and Machine Learning recently.
Muhammad Syafiq Shamsuddin

Nayan Malde

Nayan heads the Innovation Evangelize function for TCS Asia Pacific. He has 16+ years of experience in evangelizing innovation, commercializing disruptive innovations leading products from conception to market success.
He has fulfilled several roles in research, product development, project and program management, business development and sales, innovation management in a customer organization and increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of R&D organizations.
He promotes open innovation, providing technology foresight and building co-innovation strategies for TCS customers in APAC Geography. People look upon him for combining strategic thinking with a passion for hands-on execution across different geographies.

Rangam Bir

Presently, Rangam serves as a Director on the Board of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), which supports the professional, technical and digital capability development for the Malaysian Insurance industry. He is active as an Advisor and Mentor for several businesses. Recently he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gibraltar BSN Life Berhad, the Malaysian entity of Prudential Financial’s international insurance business. In 2019, under Rangam’s leadership, Gibraltar BSN was awarded Malaysia’s Digital Insurer of the Year by regional insurance publication InsuranceAsia News, during its annual InsuranceAsia News Awards for Excellence 2019.
Rangam joined Gibraltar BSN in December 2016 from the Allianz Group where he spent 19 years in various roles. Previosuly, he was Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad where he led the company through a digital transformation, establishing it as a leader in innovative digital business models and a top-five player in the Life and Health segment in Malaysia.
In Singapore, he led the regional Life & Health Division as well as the regional Property & Casualty business of the Asia Pacific region as regional general manager of Allianz Asia Pacific. During that time, he held several board positions including the position of interim Chief Executive Officer of the general insurance business in China; member of the executive committee of the CPIC Allianz Health Insurance Company in China; and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Allianz Taiwan Life Insurance Company.
Additionally, he was Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Tiriac Asigurari S.A., heading the marketleading insurance company in Romania, and Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Business Officer of Allianz SE in Germany, leading the expansion of Allianz’s insurance and distribution presence in the Central and Eastern European markets.
Beyond his professional roles, Rangam has been active in the development of the Life Insurance industry in Malaysia as Vice President of the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia. In 2018, he was conferred with the Fellowship of the Malaysian Insurance Institute, which is the most prestigious and highest level of professional insurance qualification in the country.
Rangam holds a Master of Management Studies in finance and is an electronics engineer by training.

Shalini Pavithran
Shalini is the Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysian Insurance Institute (MII), the leading professional body and education institution for the Malaysian insurance industry. MII is highly respected as a regional centre offering an extensive range of professional qualifications, certifications, and training programmes for insurance professionals. MII also administers the licensing examinations for intermediaries namely insurance agents, brokers, loss adjusters and financial planners.
Shalini also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the ASEAN Insurance Training & Research Institute (AITRI) in view of MII being given the mandate as the Secretariat of AITRI. AITRI was established by the ASEAN Insurance Regulators and serves as a regional centre for insurance education and research focusing on capacity building of regulators and supervisors in the region.
Prior to joining MII, Shalini has over 20 years’ experience in various sectors within the financial services industry.
Shalini holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from the University of Malaya, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London and has completed the Certificate of Legal Practice.

Dr. Stamatis is a technology expert with 20 years experience in delivering projects primarily for telecom companies around the world. Throughout his career, he has been utilizing data analytics in order to gain insights that would assist his customers in their decisions in diverse areas, such as enhancing network performance, and managing customer experience.
In 2015, he successfully delivered a POC project for a GLC to showcase how data analytics can be used to gain insights that will drive the GLC’s decision process. The result of this POC project greatly set the GLC’s course as an organization to embrace data-driven decision making, thus becoming a data-driven organization.
Dr. Stamatis has been working in the field of HR analytics by developing products that would assist private and public companies is using data to decide on various aspects of HR operations ranging from recruitment, talent development, performance management etc.
