Chief Executive Officer
Responsible for setting the objectives of the business unit of a company, Creating a plan for the operations, and facilitating the achievement of the objectives and implementation of the plan together with employees of the segment and stakeholders. Keep an overview of the business, understand detailed information of the business unit and support the department, and make decisions based on the information at hand.
Key Task
- Plan, develop, implement and direct the Group’s operational and fiscal functions and performance.
- Serve as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the Group’s plans and programmes.
- Analyse and make recommendation on the impact of long term growth initiatives, planning, and introduction of new strategies and regulatory actions.
- Develop credibility and authority for the finance leadership team by providing accurate analysis of budget, reports and financial trends and operational procedures in order to assist the BOD.
- Enforce adherence to legal guidelines and in-house policies to maintain the Group’s legality and business ethics.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and consultant, offering expert advice on contracts, negotiations or business deals that the Group has an interest in.
- Evaluate the Group’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures for effective planning to ensure continuous enhancement of operating efficiencies.
- Serve as a key leader in attracting, developing, coaching and retaining high-performance team members, and supporting staff in prioritising resources towards maximising their impact.
Key Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Master’s degree and above is an advantage.
- Minimum 20 years of experience with proven experience as CEO or in other position at Top - Management level (C-Suite or equivalent).
- Distinguished track record of professional achievement and significant leadership experience in an institution/organisation.
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing organisation’s vision and mission.
- Familiar with diverse business functions and possess strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
